How Much Does a Deep Clean Cost in Donegal?

The honest answer is “it depends” — so here’s exactly what it depends on, with real numbers, so you know roughly where you are before you message anyone.

The starting point

A full house deep clean with me starts from €3.50 per square metre — so a typical three-bed semi of about 100 m² comes to roughly €350. A house that hasn’t been done in years costs more.

What actually changes the price

• Size of the house. The biggest factor. More rooms, more bathrooms, more hours.
• How it’s been left. A home that’s kept tidy and just needs a reset is quicker than one with a few years of build-up in the kitchen and bathrooms. There’s no judgment either way — it just changes the hours.
• Extras. An oven deep clean adds €55–65. Windows cleaned inside are €8 each.
• Sofas and carpets. If you want them done on the same visit, they’re priced per item and come with a discount when booked with a deep clean.

What’s included

• Full dust removal from every surface, including the dust you can’t see.
• Kitchen degreased — worktops, splashback, sink, appliances outside.
• Bathrooms sanitised; limescale removed from taps, tiles and glass.
• Skirting boards, doors, frames, handles and light switches detailed.
• Floors vacuumed and washed; inside windows cleaned.

Inside the presses is on request, and the inside of the oven is the add-on above. If you want either, just say so and it goes in the price.

How long it takes

Usually five to seven hours on site for a typical house. For a bigger job I bring a second pair of hands, so it’s done in a day rather than dragging over two.

Fixed price, not hourly

A lot of cleaning is priced by the hour, which means you don’t really know the cost until it’s finished. I do it the other way: you send me the size of the house and a few photos, I give you a price, and that’s the price. If it takes me longer than I thought, that’s on me, not you.

Is it worth it?
