The Twin Towns are 25 minutes from my door in Letterkenny, so I’m out in the Finn Valley most weeks. Here is what I do there and what it costs.
What people in Ballybofey book most
- Full house deep clean before family arrive, after a tenant leaves, or because the house has simply got away from you. €3.50 per m², a 3-bed around €350. Details and what’s included.
- Sofa and carpet cleaning: the sitting-room carpet after a winter of footfall, the sofa the dog has claimed. Hot-water extraction, dry in a few hours. Sofas from €75, carpets €10 per m². Sofa and carpet cleaning.
- Oven and bathroom as add-ons or on their own. Oven €55–65, bathroom €120.
- Regular cleaning for busy households: €120 a visit, fortnightly is the most common. How regular cleaning works.
Travel and minimum order
Ballybofey and Stranorlar are inside my standard area, so no travel charge and no minimum beyond the usual €80. Killygordon, Castlefinn and Cloghan are covered too. Further into the Blue Stacks I’ll still come, but I’ll say so up front if there’s a minimum.
Why a Letterkenny cleaner and not a local one?
Honestly: because there aren’t many. Most cleaning searches from the Twin Towns end up with either a Letterkenny business or a franchise from Derry or Sligo. Twenty-five minutes on the N13 is nothing; I’m usually there before the kettle has boiled.
Same rules everywhere
Fixed price agreed before I start. Fully insured. Eco products, safe for kids and pets. You don’t need to tidy first. And if anything isn’t right, I come back and sort it at no extra cost.
