Holiday home cleaning on the north coast: Dunfanaghy, Downings, Portsalon

The north coast fills up from Easter to September and empties again in October. Owners need two things: reliable changeovers in season, and a proper deep clean before and after. I do both.

Changeovers in season

A changeover clean is €90–120 for a typical house (4-bed and bigger €160–180): beds stripped and remade, bathrooms and kitchen done properly, floors, bins, a quick check for anything left behind. Same-day turnaround between guests. I send a photo when it’s ready so you can relax wherever you are.

Season-start and season-end deep cleans

A holiday home that has stood empty since October needs more than a wipe. A deep clean at €3.50 per m² gets salt haze off the inside of the windows, dust off every surface, limescale off the shower, and the kitchen degreased so your first guests write the review you want. At season end, the same again plus mattress and sofa cleaning so nothing sits damp for six months.

Dunfanaghy is 30 km from Letterkenny, Downings 32, Portsalon 35, so the €200 minimum applies to single visits; a deep clean or a changeover plus soft furnishings covers it. For weekly changeovers in season we agree one fixed price per visit and the minimum doesn’t apply.
