House cleaning in Letterkenny: what it costs and what you get

Most people searching for a cleaner in Letterkenny want two things: a straight price and to know what actually gets done. Here is both.

The prices, in one place

• Full house deep clean: €3.50 per m². A typical 3-bed semi, about 100 m², is €350. A 4-bed is €450–520. Minimum order €80.
• Regular cleaning: €120 per visit, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or every two months.
• Sofa cleaning: 2-seater €75, 3-seater €95, corner sofa €140, armchair €40.
• Mattress: single €45, double €90, king €110.
• Carpet: €10 per m², wool €15 per m², stairs and landing €120.
• Oven: €55 single, €65 double or range.
• Bathroom on its own: €120.

Every price is fixed before any work begins. If a job takes longer than expected, that is not your problem. Bank transfer or cash after the work is done, and as a sole trader I’m not VAT registered, so the price quoted is the price you pay.

What a deep clean includes

A deep clean is the reset. Kitchen degreased: worktops, cupboard fronts, hob top, sink. Bathrooms and toilets fully, with limescale off taps, tiles and glass. Every room: skirting, doors, switches, handles. Floors vacuumed and washed. Inside windows. Cupboards on top and outside.

Not included unless you add it: the oven inside, the inside of cupboards and the fridge (only if they’re emptied first), outside windows, carpet extraction. All of these can go on the same visit, and the price goes into the one quote.

Deep clean or regular clean?

If the house hasn’t had a proper clean in a while, start with a deep clean. A regular visit keeps a standard; it doesn’t roll back a year of build-up. Once the reset is done, a €120 visit every fortnight keeps it there, with the same person every time.

If the home is already clean and looked after, regular cleaning can start straight away.

What you need to do before I arrive

• Nothing, really. You don’t need to tidy first. That’s the whole point.
• If you want the inside of cupboards or the fridge done, empty them.
• Clear small personal items off surfaces if you’d rather they weren’t moved.
• Keep pets in a safe room.

How to book

1. Send a message on WhatsApp with the size of the house and a few photos. Photos help, but they’re not essential.
2. You get a fixed price back. No obligation.
3. Pick a day, Mon–Sat, 8:00–20:00.
4. Come home to a properly clean house.
